As a reminder, registration has undergone massive changes for this season. If you are…

Level 1, 2, 3, or 4: you must register, attend an online seminar, and if over 18 additionally complete SafeSport (annual) and background checks (every 2 years).

Level 3 Tenured or Level 4 Tenured: you must register, and if over 18 additionally complete SafeSport (annual) and background checks (every 2 years).

If you are a brand new official to CHOA, regardless of level, you will need to provide photos of your card and crest to our assignors before working games.

2024-2025 USAH Officiating Seminars and Registration

CHOA will be offering the following virtual seminars for the season, all times in Pacific:

Level 1
*registrants must register for both parts of a split session, and must be in attendance at both sessions in order to receive credit for their seminar

  • Tuesday 7/30 & Thursday 8/1, 6pm-10pm*
  • Saturday 8/10, 9am-5pm [break will be provided for lunch]
  • Thursday 8/15, 5:30pm-9:30pm* & Saturday 8/17, 9am-1pm*
  • Tuesday 8/27 & Thursday 8/29, 6pm-10pm*

Level 2

  • Saturday 8/3, 8am-12pm
  • Thursday 9/5, 6pm-10pm

Level 3

  • Sunday 8/4, 8am-12pm
  • Tuesday 9/3, 6pm-10pm

Officials do not need to attend seminars offered by their local association, as content is standardized across the nation.

2024 September Board Meeting
Monday, September 9 @ Olympic View Arena
7:00pm, in the downstairs warm room

Monthly board meetings are open to all CHOA members, of all ages and experience levels, that may be interested in attending. There is no online board meeting presence at this time.

Cascade Hockey Officials Association was formed to assist, support, and develop USA Hockey certified officials and help promote the growth of ice hockey at all levels serving the Greater Seattle area from Everett to Snoqualmie.
